William K. Wong, Jr., MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist and founder of Hawai‘i Vision Clinic, with locations in Aiea and Honolulu. A recognized leader in cataract and refractive surgery, he is frequently named one of Hawai‘i’s Best Doctors by HONOLULU Magazine and is widely regarded for his clinical excellence and patient-centered approach.
Dr. Wong earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College after completing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and pre-medical studies at the University of Hawai‘i. His training includes a military internship at Tripler Army Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center. A former U.S. Army ophthalmologist and veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, he brings extensive surgical, leadership, and real-world clinical experience to the Medical Advisory Board.
